TECHNOLOGY HAS SIMPLIFIED LIVES AND ENHANCED SOCIETAL PARTICIPATION

The uses of technology in our daily lives increases by day, from simple tasks to complex management systems, technology has made life easier than we ever expected. Today, many people own devices that are technology viable, devices that have changed the way they do business as well as how they interact on a daily basis.
Here in Kenya, Safaricom has been harnessing innovation through M-Pesa, the mobile money platform has revolutionized the way we do business at all levels, from the mama mboga to multinationals that are using the platform to make payments all over the world. A clear indicator on how inclusivity has been enhanced world over. Technology has been used today in business to boost productivity, save money, and enhance profits.
Currently, Safaricom has over 26 million M-Pesa users who have so far transacted over 184 billion in the last decade. This service has evolved from just being about money transfer but to impacting people lives. Communities across the region rely on M-Pesa on accessing basic needs like water and healthcare that are paid through this revolutionary platform.
As schools witness the expanding trends of technological integration and technological literacy, LG continues to demonstrate its dedication to developing innovative and advanced educational display solutions. From information, to the internet, to broadcast content, LG delivers products such as LCD’s, desktop monitors that are performance driven and designed to maximize content.
As the year comes to a close, it’s only fair to say that the pace of innovation is quite impressive. Driverless cars, drones, connected homes and 3-D virtual reality will soon takeover from the mobile apps that have dominated the country in the past ten years.
