night out at Galilleoz

Seventy percent of the time am at work on a Friday, I stare at the clock
danobura, bura CEO
waiting for 5pm to reach, but it beats the point because am normaly out atleast two hours earlier. Pins and needles? No, outside is good only when the sun is
not out with its family.  Hi, am dan obura, Founder and CEO of Bura Creations, most of you know me as the "party boy", I kid you not most of those foursquare checkins are business related and research, that's your cue :D.

Nairobi, a beautiful city that is adopting the "no sleep policy", insomnia being the list reason. I tend to assume that the evening traffic is because people are rushing to their locals to start off the weekend. Which brings me to my major point on this blogpost, why don't most Kenyans dress up for rave? I have been outside the country and had different experiences, people actually go shopping for what they will wear for a good night out. This is a  +1 for your sex life, don't shrug at that statement.  How do you expect to get some if you look and smell like you are from a "mission impossible" finalle episode  o.O

me and my twin
Anyway, I was in "Galilleoz Lounge" last Saturday where Dj Joe Mfalme was holding it down. Personaly I have never been their, I always drive by the 'parking lot' on Waiyaki Way as I head to RnB or Bachuus for shots and chat with random people. Belive it or not I missed parking inside and outside the club and was forced to park at The Mall and take a cab to the place. The train of cars parked along the highway ofcourse gave me an adrenelin rush on what to expect.

...ITA WAITER
We went through a three series security check before getting to the entrance, and alas we were in. Fashionably late that the manager gave out our reserved table, but being in the company of beautiful ladies is rather a good idea, men kept offering seats to them and we eventually colonised a table, ITA WAITER :D.

spoted LBD's
Beaming lights, sexy waitress's, LBD's and  AC's set to 9degrees boost my party mood to an all time high. No funny looking weaves, running pantyhose and my all time hate...WEDGES. Every single lady was in a designer high heel accessorised with either denim jeans, hot pants or a short tight fitting dress. Heh,  that night I din't tweet, I sipped my 'Castle' bottle after bottle in pure bliss asking myself why I never came to this 'heaven' before? Anita answer that.

.
party hard, drink smart...

I din't spot anyone drunk beyond not knowing their own  name or even worse "mwauraing". I admire a lady who knows how much she should take and hold it all in. If you follow me on twitter then you have seen my party ettiquitte tweets. Don't go out expecting that a stranger will randomly buy you drinks ladies, its attractive to us when you show some independence, and dudes, please don't spoil it for the ladies when they are having a girls night out, you won't die if you won't get laid.

At some point in the night I remember a  Sudanese group walked in, in slow motion as "Sexy and I know it" played(they must have agreed with the dj on this entrance stunt).  I am 5'11 and this one guy, lemme laugh abit...............ok am done, n*gga was so tall I was reaching his elbow, I swear. He kept bending on the dancefloor as the disco lights slid from corner to corner beaming the area. I recall whispering to  martha(my pal) that he must be a real life X-men right here and we might not even know it. Being looked down upon is not a plan, am sorry Tina :D

For those who drink, you will agree with me that after the fourth bottle every girl(for dudes) or boy(for ladies) looks attractive, even your Ex(God fobid to mine) and the thought of "chipoing" rings a bell. Well if you have a history with the person its a debatable issue, I just don't support going home with a stranger, to hell with the fact that 'its been a while' or you are looking for revenge sex. This is a dangerous time we live in and if you do this don't complain if that guy calls you a *o* <====real talk.

Their places you don't bring your problems, 1 is the club scene. Not everyone has a wrong motive when they approach you with a conversation, its a social enviroment and if you don't want to talk, lightly brush them off and if they are being a jerk take your best shot in between there eyes. All in all, I always tell myself if the party doesn't kick make it kick but avoid looking like an imbacile, tequila is never your friend. Till the next party remember,  drink smart, party hard and have clean fun.
Bigup Galilleoz Lounge I rate you 9/10.
